About the Competition
The Edinbinary International Music Competition is dedicated to creating a high-standard, high-quality, and high-level platform for musically talented young enthusiasts and professional musicians from around the world. The competition serves as a bridge for musical exchange, supported by a panel of esteemed music educators and performers from both domestic and international backgrounds. The goal is to uphold the event’s high standards while promoting advanced, professional music education concepts.

Victoria Concert Hall
Built in 1855, is a historically significant performing arts venue in Singapore, located in the city center. The hall primarily showcases the European Neo-Renaissance style and, together with the City Hall, follows the Palladian architectural tradition, blending Renaissance and classical elements into a stunning design.
As one of the main performance venues for the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Victoria Concert Hall regularly hosts various concerts and cultural events. It is not only a vital part of Singapore’s music and cultural scene but also an ideal place to explore the country’s cultural heritage. World-renowned musicians have held concerts here.

Music Festival Schedule
August 17 2025, Day 1
Competition & Music Masterclass: Contestants participate in the competition according to the schedule announced by the committee.
Evening Rehearsal and Music Masterclass: Rehearsal and instruction by faculty members from the Yong Siew Toh Gonservatory of Music.
August 18 2025, Day 2
Rehearsals (Same as Day l) and Music Masterclass
August 19 2025, Day 3
Award Ceremony & Concert Arrangements
All students who joined the music festival rehearsals will perform at Victoria Concert Hall in piano four hands, wind and string ensembles, and choir. The repertoire and schedule will be announced in early July.
Individual Contestants: Winners of the Outstanding Performance Award (one per category) will perform at the concert. Other contestants will attend the award ceremony. If no one meets the required score, the Outstanding Performance Award will not be given.
The music festival includes three days of rehearsals, masterclasses, competitions, an awards ceremony, and a concert.
Music Festival Fees:
Amateur – 1000 SGD Or 750 USD
Professional Group – 1300 SGD Or 950 USD

The music festival fee includes the competition fee, participants do not need to pay extra for the competition. For Competition Only participants, the entry fee varies by category (see Categories & Entry Fees for details).
